While having a technical background helps, many non-engineers successfully complete this course. We start from the basics and gradually build up your understanding.

The duration of PG Diploma is of one year. The Training program is divided into two semesters. After the end of each semester, there will be a contact module of five day practical classroom training. The 5 day classroom training after each semester is mandatory to complete the PG.
Should be B.E. /B. Tech. or M.Sc. in Physics OR Chemistry. Bachelor’s Degree holder / Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university. International / SAARC Graduates from a recognized / accredited University / Institution. Students appearing for their final graduation exam may also apply, subject to completion of graduation as specified by IISE. Preference will be given to candidates working in the Solar Sector/ Related energy sector. Admission for this course will be conducted in TWO PHASES for the convenience of International and upcountry students. Please note that ONCE SEATS ARE FILLED IN THE FIRST PHASE, ADMISSION FOR THE SECOND PHASE WILL NOT BE HELD. If you have any other qualifications with/without Solar Experience. Please email us to know your eligibility.
Step one: Admission for the PG Diploma will start from 30th April 2026. All the students in our inquiry database will be emailed first and given an chance to take admission on first come first basis. If you are interested in the course, Please make the payment of Rs 999/ – for the course application – Payment Link After you make the payment. you will be directed to the application page. Here you can submit all your details. Scenario one : This amount is refundable after a deduction of Rs 500/- for the processing charges if you are not selected for the program… Scenario Two : If you are selected for the program and take the admission, This amount will be adjusted against your course fee. Scenario Three : If you are selected and don’t take the admission, then only this amount will be forfeited. ( We are having this arrangement, Since we are getting a lot of inquiries and want to avoid time wasters from our admission process. ) Step Two Shortlisted candidates will be called for admission round. Originals should be presented during this stage. Admission cum course fee should be paid at this stage as per fee schedule given by IISE.
Admission to this course will be conducted in two phases. If the seats are filled in the first phase. Then second phase of admission won’t be held. FIRST PHASE: Online application start date: 30th May2023 Last date for application is 05th June 2023 Last Date for Admission is 10th June 2023 Application received on or before 10th June 2023 will be shortlisted and called for admission process by the Third week of June 2023. The Exact dates will be communicated to the shortlisted candidates. SECOND PHASE: Online application start date: TBA Last date for application is TBA Last Date for Admission is TBA Selection will be strictly on Merit. Seats are limited so students would be shortlisted on first cum first serve basis depending upon qualifications & experience. If the number of applications received is more than expected. IISE have the right to conduct entrance exam & personal interview to fill the vacant seats in the second phase. Originals should be presented during the personal interview stage.
If paid in full by the student, the total fee for the course is Rs 74,999/- (Rupees Eighty Five Thousand only). Payment by monthly EMI Students can also pay the fees through Easy Monthly Installments with zero interest. This facility is arranged with the approval from a third partner banking partner. Terms and conditions of the same will be shared with shortlisted candidates only.
