Solar Operation & Maintenance (O&M) Training Course
Become a certified Solar O&M technician, or build the skills to launch your own AMC servicing business. A 3-month, hands-on, UGC-affiliated training program built around real plant operations — not just theory.
Who This Course Is For
Technicians & Engineers Entering Solar O&M
If you want a hands-on, well-paid role keeping solar plants running at peak performance, this course builds you into a job-ready O&M technician or engineer — covering electrical maintenance, fault diagnosis, preventive scheduling, and site safety on a live solar plant, not just in a classroom. This is the primary track for this course.
Entrepreneurs Building an AMC Business
Already run, or want to start, a solar servicing, cleaning, or AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) business? This course gives you the technical depth to price, staff, and deliver O&M contracts credibly — see the AMC business section below.
Why Solar O&M Matters Right Now
India's installed solar capacity keeps expanding every year, and every megawatt commissioned needs ongoing operation and maintenance to protect generation output and investor payback. Poorly maintained plants lose measurable annual generation to soiling, fault downtime, and degraded components — which is exactly why trained O&M professionals and AMC service providers are in growing demand across EPC companies, independent power producers, and nodal agencies.
For a deeper technical look at what plant maintenance actually involves, read our guide on how to maintain a solar power plant in India, or keep reading below for the hands-on training that takes you beyond theory.
Curriculum Breakdown
Nine modules across 3 months, blending classroom instruction with hands-on practical sessions at a live solar plant site.
