V-TAC is looking for a solar consultant to perform sales and support functions related to solar energy systems, particularly the installation of systems designed for residential use. A professional who can deliver sales pitches and presentations in response to inquiries, and educate customers about the features and benefits of solar energy systems.

Roles and responsibilities:  Understand customer’s needs, priorities, properties, and whether they are a good fit for solar.  Provide residential solar sales presentations and negotiate contracts with potential clients.  Build and maintain stakeholder relationships across the full sales cycle.  Manage the QA and QC of the shopping process.  Provide valuable strategy and information to improve sales and customer satisfaction.  Act as the intermediary between customers and solar installers.  Attend sales meetings and industry events to stay informed about new products, sales techniques, financial products, and industry developments.  Actively engage customers already in the pipeline by prioritizing and proactively following up on warm, qualified leads and systematically moving them through the sales funnel.  Cultivate ongoing relationships with decision makers from initial contact to closed sale.  Ability to appropriately engage and manage a variety of stakeholders from senior decision-makers to installers.  Prospect and close new business in Residential and Commercial markets.  Explain the process for going solar and act as the primary point of contact for each step along the way, including multiple bid comparisons. Qualifications:  Bachelor's or Graduate's Degree in business.  Solar PG Diploma/ Diploma Certification from IISE will be preferred .  Background in LED Lighting  Able to display confidence, strong work ethic, and positive attitude.  Negotiation abilities and critical thinking skills.  Extensive experience creating and managing spreadsheets.
